Purpose and scope

The Self-Exclusion Policy of S9s9 establishes two protective instruments for players: Time-out (short-term break) and Self-Exclusion (longer-term pause). This policy sets out the processes, effects, and safeguards applicable to self-imposed restrictions on gambling activity within S9s9.

Time-out (short-term break)

A Time-out provides a temporary pause from all S9s9 products. Once a Time-out period begins, you may not deposit funds, withdraw funds, place bets, or access any S9s9 offerings for the duration selected. The available periods are displayed in your Account Profile under the Time-out section. You may revoke a Time-out only after 24 hours from the initial Time-out request. Upon expiry, the account automatically re-activates and normal functionality resumes unless you initiate a new Time-out.

Self-Exclusion (longer-term pause)

Self-exclusion is a voluntary, extended halt from gambling activity on S9s9. To commence, you must notify S9s9 via email from your registered address and indicate the period for which you wish to pause activity, or state an intention to pause indefinitely.

  1. On receipt of your email request, the account enters Stage 1 — a 24-hour cooling-off period during which gambling activity is disabled.
  2. After the 24-hour cooling-off period, while the account remains closed, a Customer Support Agent will inform you of the available self-exclusion periods. The self-exclusion periods are fixed; there is no provision to vary the pre-selected durations.
  3. To proceed, you must reply by email with your chosen exclusion period. If no reply is received within a further 24 hours, the account will be reopened and confirmed to you by email.
  4. During the Self-Exclusion period, the account is disabled and you will not be able to deposit or withdraw funds for the duration of the exclusion. Upon expiration, the account will automatically be re-activated.

Self-exclusion also entails restrictions on promotional offers. While the exclusion is active, you will be excluded from all promotional activities in respect of the excluded period.

Promotions, linked accounts and attempts to circumvent

Promotional materials are restricted for customers who have self-excluded. S9s9 will undertake reasonable steps to ensure that no promotional material is sent to such customers. The Company disclaims responsibility for continued play where a customer operates additional accounts, or alters registration details (including duplicating accounts under similar information) to circumvent restrictions. Linked accounts are identified by factors such as household, shared devices, email addresses, payment details, IP addresses, or shared environments; exclusions extend to the linked accounts for the duration of the self-exclusion.

Financial protection and self-imposed limits

At any time, you may set personal limits within the relevant section of your account (loss limits, time limits, wagering limits). If a limit is exceeded, further actions related to that limit are restricted. Any request to revoke a limit or an exclusion must be submitted in writing or by electronic notice. S9s9 will consider such requests but may exercise absolute discretion to deny revocation. S9s9 will take reasonable steps to enforce self-exclusion and, if possible, ensure that promotional material is not directed to excludable accounts.

You acknowledge that S9s9 is not responsible for continued play via alternate or re-registered accounts created to bypass restrictions or for any promotional material inadvertently directed to an excluded user.

Compliance, data protection and age

The self-exclusion process and related records are maintained in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) policies, and data protection obligations. By initiating self-exclusion, you acknowledge that S9s9 will process personal data to verify your identity, enforce the exclusion, and comply with regulatory obligations. Participation in self-exclusion and time-out is intended for users aged 18 years and older. Underage gambling is illegal and prohibited.

For guidance or assistance with self-exclusion, you may contact S9s9 Customer Support at the registered address from your account. If you require external support for gambling-related issues, you may seek appropriate help from recognized gambling-support organizations. S9s9 encourages responsible gaming and supports players seeking professional help for gambling-related concerns.

Effectiveness and updates

This Self-Exclusion Policy forms part of the S9s9 Terms and Conditions. S9s9 reserves the right to amend this policy in accordance with applicable law; material changes will be communicated to users in a timely manner. Each self-exclusion or time-out remains effective for the period selected and terminates automatically at the end of the specified duration unless renewed by the user following the same process.
