Purpose and Scope

This policy sets out the Know Your Customer KYC and Anti Money Laundering AML controls employed by S9s9. It applies to all customers and all transactions conducted on S9s9 platforms to deter illicit activity, verify identities, and ensure the integrity of gaming operations in accordance with applicable law.

Verification Framework

S9s9 conducts verification across three core elements: identity, residence, and source of funds related to payments. Verification may occur at registration, prior to certain transactions such as withdrawals, or when risk indicators arise. Ongoing monitoring may trigger additional verification requirements.

Documentation Requirements

Documentation must be current, authentic, and legible. The specific documents listed below may be requested to satisfy identity, address, and payment method verification requirements.

Identity Verification

  • Copy of a valid photo ID such as a passport, national identity card, or government issued license. The copy must show both the front and back of the document.
  • In the absence of a photo ID, a birth certificate may be accepted. The birth certificate must show all four corners and a scanned copy of a photo of the applicant holding the birth certificate where the face is clearly visible and the certificate legible.

Proof of Address

  • A utility bill or bank statement issued within the last three months showing the account holder’s name and current residential address.

Proof of Payment

Verification of deposits and payments is required and varies by payment method. The following are acceptable verification documents by method.

  • Card payments Copies of all debit or credit cards used on the account. The copies must display the cardholder signature and the first six digits and last four digits of the card number. The security code and middle digits must be redacted.
  • eWallets A screenshot of the eWallet account showing the registered email address or account number and visible personal information.
  • Bank transfers A bank statement issued within the last three months showing the bank name, account number, IBAN and BIC. The statement must have all four corners visible. A PDF or hard copy is acceptable. A separate screenshot or PDF showing a deposit to S9s9 is required.
  • Cryptocurrencies Screenshots of the relevant transaction and the wallet profile showing the user ID and associated email or account details.
  • Pre paid vouchers Pre paid vouchers are not verified for KYC purposes.

Submission and Review Process

Documents must be uploaded through the Documents tab within the My Account area. S9s9 will assess submitted materials and may request additional information if necessary to complete verification.

Timelines and Triggers

Where a withdrawal is requested, the customer must provide the necessary documentation within 48 hours of the withdrawal request. S9s9 aims to complete review and verification within 3 business days of receipt of the required documents. If additional information is needed, customers will be notified and given a reasonable period to supply it.

Ongoing Monitoring and Re Verification

S9s9 conducts ongoing monitoring of customer activity. Re verification may be triggered by changes in risk profile, updates to personal data, or regulatory requirements. Customers may be asked to provide updated verification documents at any time to maintain account integrity.

Data Handling and Privacy

All documents and data collected under this policy are treated as confidential. Access is restricted to authorized personnel for the purposes of identity verification, AML checks, and regulatory compliance. Documents are retained for as long as required by applicable law and internal policy, or as necessary to resolve any disputes or investigations.

Age Verification and Responsible Gaming

Underage participation in gambling is prohibited. S9s9 will not register or maintain accounts for individuals under the legal age. The operator promotes responsible gaming and may implement self exclusion or other controls consistent with applicable law and policy.
